To gain insight into the major trends impacting the spirits industry in the coming year, Joseph V Micallef recently had the opportunity to speak with Adam Spriggs, US Director at Thirst, a Scottish creative agency that has played a crucial role in building some of the biggest and most successful brands in the food and beverage sector.

Founded in Glasgow in 2015 by Managing Director Chris Black and Creative Director Matt Burns, Thirst has established a reputation for excellence in the industry through its work with a diverse range of global food and beverage brands. Through its work with these and other leading brands, Thirst has developed a deep understanding of the trends and dynamics shaping the spirits industry. He was able to gain valuable insight from Adam Spriggs on the major trends that are likely to impact the industry in 2023, including increased consumer interest in sustainability and transparency, and the ongoing shift towards more premium and craft-oriented products.
