We are very pleased to confirm that we have been awarded Gold Standard from EcoVadis for our accreditation, 2024 – Rating within the top 5% of assessed businesses, worldwide!
This is an excellent result, especially as the criteria required to achieve this standard has changed since our last award and become considerably more onerous.
EcoVadis evaluates companies across areas such as environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement policies.
We are really pleased and proud to be an EcoVadis Gold standard business since 2018. Utilising the core concepts of this standard has been central to our business progress over the last six years and this will continue going forward.
Our journey really started in 2007 with a loan from the Carbon Trust to cool our factory with an evaporative cooling system with zero greenhouse gas emissions. Since then, we have developed a clear strategy to operate our business responsibly, efficiently and adhere to measurable sustainable objectives.
This achievement reflects our dedication to improve our sustainability performance, and we are proud to contribute to positive change.
