Manufactured at Spectra’s Suffolk based facility, the new HDPE packs use 50% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials and 50% sugarcane-based biopolymer. Spectra also provided sleek looking frosted non-aerosol over-caps from their extensive injection moulded standard range to complete the look.

Dan Smith, Field Sales Representative at Spectra, said: “We’re seeing increasing numbers of customers looking for appropriate ways to package their products responsibly, with many opting for either PCR, biopolymers or in this case both”.

Established in 1993 and adopted in 2005 by mother and son team Sally and Thomas Laird, the Salt of the Earth brand of natural deodorants perfectly reflects their vision and passion for environmentally friendly, natural skincare products that are effective as well as ethical.

The company has won many awards for their environmental ethos throughout the years with Salt of the Earth now becoming one of the best-selling natural deodorants in the Netherlands, winning Best New Brand in 2017 at the Beauty Astir Awards.
