ECOPEEL™: EASY TO OPEN, EASY TO POUR, INFINITELY RECYCLABLE, 20% LESS CO2 EMISSIONS THAN A STANDARD CAN
Discover Ecopeel™, the eco-friendly revolution in metal packaging, designed for convenience. The regular 3-piece cans’ manufacturing process includes heat sealing the foil onto a shell of steel, while Ecopeel™ revolutionizes the way we manufacture cans with edges of the body bent at 45 degrees to allow foils to be directly sealed to the can’s body. With less material, Ecopeel™ saves up to 20% of CO2 emission compared to regular 3-piece can. Its seamless aperture allows for pouring all the content out easily without the need for cutlery and without leaving any wasted products. Food waste represents a staggering 10% of global GHG emissions, cans are already preventing food waste by extending the product’s shelf life, but Ecopeel™ goes one step further ensuing no food remains trapped inside the packaging.
This inclusive solution features an easily accessible foil. Moreover, delivered with the foil already sealed to the cans and open from the bottom, Ecopeel™ is 5 times faster to fill and only requires standard seaming equipment, reduces spoilage, and contributes to a greener future.
Currently available with Jealsa’s Mare Aperto brand, Ecopeel™ sets a new standard for sustainable food packaging. Jealsa’s CEO, Mr. Jesús Alonso Escurís, stated, “Jealsa have very proudly received certification from the Marine Stewardship Council with our “We Sea” sustainability program, and protecting the sustainability of their products is core to Jealsa’s values. It is very important for us to work with partners who are innovators and who can offer us new ways to adopt more sustainable choices throughout our supply chain – including our packaging. Eviosys’ new product Ecopeel™ sets a new standard for inclusive, accessible, sustainable, and innovative food packaging, and allows consumers to enjoy all our high-quality product with ease.”
